If you are interested in music, dance and drama, then joining your local group has everything for you! And if you don’t have aspirations to perform, helping backstage with lighting, costumes, props and scenery are all extremely important roles.

Social

Joining your local theatre group is a great way of meeting new people, especially if you’ve moved to a new area. Making new friends is important, whatever age you are. You will have regular social interaction and enjoy being part of the rehearsal process.

When you put on a play, or a show, you are using your imagination. Theatre gives you the opportunity to be creative. You can contribute in a unique way to what is happening on stage, and put your own spin on this.
